Course Description
This two day course will cover the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the thoracic spine, rib cage and cervical spine. Emphasis will be placed upon making a positional diagnosis for thoracic and cervical spinal dysfunction and treatment will utilize an eclectic approach with the primary emphasis on muscle energy techniques. Evaluation and treatment of the rib cage will include evaluation and treatment of structural rib dysfunctions. The course will also demonstrate the relationship of thoracic spine and rib cage mobility on shoulder function. Home exercises for the thoracic spine, rib cage and cervical spine are included.
