Philosophy of care: Dr. Villa is a board certified family practice physician who enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine from infants to geriatrics and has been practicing for the past 22 years. His practice philosophy is to develop strong relationships with his patients and treat them as he himself would want to be treated. Specialty procedures include skin biopsies, lesion removal, cyst removal, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsies, and joint injections.

Education:

  • Received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School.
  • General Surgery Residency completed at Blodgett Memorial Medical in Grand Rapids, MI
  • Family Practice Residency completed at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, MI.
  • Awarded Fellow degree at the National Meeting of American Academy of Family Physicians.

    Personal: Dr. Villa has been married for 32 years and has five daughters. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycling, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
